Farewell to Esslingen!

After an exciting morning in school, where the children got to meet St Nicholas, the moment finally arrived to say our goodbyes. It has been a fantastic week and the children should all be extremely proud of themselves. Their behaviour, confidence and enthusiasm has been an absolute inspiration to all. Well done Year 6!!

Thursday Morning.

All the children had a good night's sleep  and participated in craft activities this morning. They all seem to be full of smiles and excited about their afternoon activities.

All the children had a great time at the Christmas Market. Most of them got a decent night's sleep but a couple were very busy chatting and giggling until quite late! Not naming any names!

We're now on the train to Mercedes (it has its own station!!!)

The first day!!

All the children are well and happy!! We were all made to feel very welcome during a special assembly. They have been participating in class with their host children. There were lots of smiles and excitement about heading to the Christmas market later this afternoon.

After a smooth flight, we've all arrived safely. The children are now safely with their host families. It was quite a welcome!!

Finally, the bus arrived and nine excited children began their adventure!!
